You can place orders any day of the week however they are only dispatched on Tuesdays to Fridays. All items in stock ordered Tuesday to Friday before our delivery 'Cut-Off' of 1.00pm will normally be shipped that day.
UK Mail will usually deliver between 8.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. All items shipped will require a signature upon delivery unless you instruct us to leave the item in a safe place or with a neighbour. However, Berties Clothing cannot be held responsible for items that have not been signed for.
UK Mail invariably will leave a card to inform an attempt to deliver with no success. However, you may be required to collect a non-delivered item from UK Mail's local depot. Berties Clothing will not accept any charges for re-delivery of orders.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches its destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information. Please note that delays can occur in customs, and these delays are beyond our control.
MAKING A PURCHASE By placing an order you are offering to purchase an item that we will accept to sell to you on the following Terms and Conditions. All requests are subject to availability and confirmation of the order by us. Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees, warranties or representations made as to delivery times are limited to mainland UK and are on the basis that we are not responsible for any delay in delivery occurring due to postal delays or force majeure. Berties Clothing is absolutely entitled to refuse any request made by you. If your order is accepted we will inform you by email. When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us requesting goods are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to these details as soon as possible.
All prices advertised are subject to such changes. All prices indicated for items available via the website are inclusive of V.A.T (where applicable) at the current rate and are quoted in pounds sterling.
REFUND POLICY Under our Berties Clothing Refund Policy, you have 14 days to return a product to us, providing it is unused and in a saleable condition** for a full refund. Where a product is faulty, damaged or misdescribed, we will refund the original delivery charge, but not when a product is simply unwanted. Please note all refunds are at the original pounds sterling price so we do not accept responsibility for any loss that may occur due to fluctuating foreign exchange rates.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods or your right to cancel orders under the consumer protection (distance selling) regulation.

**Note: when trying on items of clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing perfume, make-up or a deodorant which may leave a scent or marks on the item. We will be unable to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed. The item must be returned in its original packaging with any enclosed documentation. Jewellery care guidelines: Avoid contact with perfume, deodorant, hairspray or water. Avoid scratching your jewellery by storing in a non-abrasive box or pouch.
